Pole Star and Big Dipper Ceremony

For Countless Ages  . . . the Big Dipper Ceremony has been traditionally practiced on the full and new moon to inspire the deepest connection to cosmic energy.

Master Wu will lead us in this ancient ritual which resembles a Spiral Dance or walking a labrynth more than anything else. As we lose ourselves in the patterns of the milky way we find connection to the greater cyles of nature.

Experience an ancient Chinese Shamanic ceremony. Open a portal which will connect your core axis with the pole star and the big dipper. This connection greatly enhances vital energy for self empowerment. In doing so, we may strengthen our life energy, release disease, and strengthen our jing, qi & shen to transform our bodies with the Tao, forming spirit.

About the Big Dipper Ceremony

The Big Dipper is the heart of the celestial world according to Chinese Shamanic tradition.  It is in charge of the human being’s karma and life force, which speaks to its function of transformation:  the life, death and subsequent rebirth of the human being.  Following this, the Big Dipper is therefore known as “King of the Spirits,” as it governs all spirits.

Considered a trigger for natural phenomena occurring in the universe, it is responsible for unleashing natural disasters and the release of disease.  Accordingly, it has the function of governing the universal laws of the four seasons.  It is considered to govern the general balance of yin and yang in the universe.  The movement of the Dipper patterns the yin yang movement of the Dao, which is the movement and Way of the Universe.

The Big Dipper ceremonial form is a way to connect with the Big Dipper, and therefore its functions.  In doing so, we may strengthen our life energy, release disease, and strengthen our jingàqiàshen to transform our bodies with the Dao, forming spirit.  This is the way of immortality. By connecting with the energies of the Big Dipper and understanding the functions of those energies, we are able to better understand our own life path in terms of karma and allow for change.  By understanding how the movement works, we understand how the Universal energy changes.  By observing which direction the handle is pointing to, we know what Universal energy is strongest.  We may face that direction in our own practice to connect with and thereby increase that particular energy in our own body.  This provides for energy transformation and longevity.

Testimonial

“I have been studying Qi Gong since 1992. I attended the National Qi Gong Association Conference in Portland, Oregon in 2002 and participated in a workshop presented by Master Wu.

I have experienced a number of very good Qi Gong teachers, and I can unequivocally say that Master Wu is the most dynamic teacher I have experienced so far.

It is time for human beings to claim and develop our personal power for ourselves and to help others.

Zhongxian Wu is a master teacher of valuable ancient knowledge."
